Cyber Essentials Certification - Protect your business against cyber threats
Cyber Essentials is a government-backed cyber security certification scheme that requires the implementation of baseline controls across 5 key IT areas. When done correctly, it can prevent around 80% of cyber attacks. CMI will work with you to implement the necessary IT changes, processes and controls and guide you through successful Cyber Essentials certification.
The Cyber Essentials badge will demonstrate to customers, suppliers and insurers that your business has taken essential precautions to secure against the majority of cyber risks. It will also reduce insurance premiums and allow your organisation to successfully tender for government contracts. Here you can read a recent report by the government UK cyber security: the role of insurance in managing and mitigating the risk and the UK Government’s procurement policy notice.
